We went to Ichiban for my friend's birthdya and they treated us like goddesses. We ordered the sushi boat and they did not skimp on the selection. It was wonderful. At the end of the meal they brought out a complimentary banana tempura and ice cream dessert. So yummy!!! Plus, they gave my friend a oriental fan to take home with her.

I do not like sushi. However, I went there with someone who once lived in Japan. She recommended the chicken tempura which was wonderful. I loved the atmosphere. The price is a little high but I think it is worth it.

Nice stylish Japanese restaurant. However, there sushi is less than desireable. Very big pieces of fish but disgustinly soft without texture. My family loved the california rolls. I have had better from grocery stores.

The best Sushi Restaurant I have ever eaten at is Ichiban in Richmond, and I have lived in Atlanta and Tampa.

I consider myself a sushi expert, having eaten sushi at some of the best restaurants in NYC. Ichiban is close. Quality is excellent and presentation, especially on some of the special sushi items in the "black book" on each table.

I agree, by far the best Sushi in Richmond! Great menu, great prices, and delicious food. I highly recommend the Sweet Potato Roll!
