Children enjoy hands-on activities such as arts and crafts, costume dress-up, a giant indoor playground and other playful things that get their imaginations going. This is not to be confused with any old "museum." I visit Richmond every year and this is the first place my daughter asks to go. Once we're there, she never wants to leave. A must see for families!

Some people say that it is expensive to get into the museum($7 a person) but when you consider all you can do it is very cheap. Kids can do anything from climb in a interactive mouth to being actors/actresses in the playhouse. Other exibits include U-shop which is a mini Ukrops in which children can be cashiers as their parents buy goods from them. ...

I love the Childrens Museum. Ive been going there since i was like 5 with my 2 little sisters. My favorite things were always the mouth; even though when it burped at you it stank so bad. And the Mini-Ukrops grocery store; i even work at Ukrops now. I know this sounds dumb but im 18 now and i still love it.
