Not the best place since 9/11.I was very neverous in all the areas of 'touris areas'

I had two bad experiences visiting New York City with my wife. People were not polite or helpful to us. Eveyone had their hand out for a tip encluding the elevator man in the Plaza. This was a few year back but it is fresh in my mind. Bus drivers when asked to advise us when to get off ignored us and we traveled way out of our way and got lost.

If your idea of romance is fighting thru crowds of rude people all dressed in black and looking like they are running from "Jason" then this is the place for you. I liked my tour of San Quintin better.

I think ny is horrible for a romantic get away i would rather visit a shack in virginia

too crowded too dirty too much traffic too many rude people who think their god's gift to the world if you like peace and quiet don't go arrive after 9pm less people leave before 4am young people might like it the vibe is ok if like hip stuff

When i went the hotel was dirty, the bathrooms, well u can just say u rather not have a bathroom there then one at all. The food i thought was suppose to be delicous, but they served us old fried chicken and cold piza!! The weather was outragous NO air conditioning!!! Everything was horrible that is why i do not every want to go to New York!! every again!!

NYC it the dirtiest city I have ever been to.

there was way too much noise, there was way too many people, it was way too hard to get around, the people are very unfriendly
