I visited Santa Barbara on accident. I was visiting L.A. and decided to take a drive with some friends. We reached Santa Barbara and decided to stay there for a couple of days. It was beautiful. I can't wait to go back.

Santa Barbara is by far a must see on the California Coast. If you visit California, it is one of the Seven places to visit.
It has the best Mission, and some of the best coastline in California.
The Hotels, are worthy of a Wedding, and so is the setting.
The cost is quite reasonable, and the things to do for the family are endless.

I love the mountain scenery and ocean. The weather is perfect sunny, not to hot or cold. Very peaceful.

Lot's of novelty shops and antique stores.

I liked how low key it was but at the same time it was lively and a fun place to go.

I dislike nothing about SB and love everything about it. Too bad it is way too $$ to buy a house here otherwise people would be moving in here like herds!

While the Santa Barbara is beautiful to look at, the water is filthy. After a stroll on the beach, you'll see dead lobsters, dead jellyfish and you'll have oil on the bottoms of your feet or shoes. There are health warnings posted regarding the high bacterial levels. It's a look but don't swim beach. Shame on the city for the condition of the beaches!
