I was born and raised in San Diego. I moved to Las Vegas,NV four years ago. Why move from paradise? Money. We came to the conclusion that our middle class income would not afford us to ever own a home in SD. Also, there is no state tax in NV.
That having been said, I yearn to be back. I miss nearly everything about San Diego.

I spent 4 months in SD! My husband's work sent us there. I had the best time of my life! Iam pushing my husband to move there! Waking to the parots and going to bed with the fireworks from Sea World! Everyone was great. We lived near New Port Beach and boy was it fun! The SD Zoo was huge and then there was sea world! We went there at least 4 times! San Diego is a place to see! I loved it!

Hard not to enjoy the mild weather, clean air, slower paced lifestyle. No Seaworld or Legoland for me. All about relaxing w/ my fiancee. Be sure to visit Camarillo State Beach for the tide pools, pack a lunch and go to Point Loma to watch the boats, do the Trolly Ghost Tour (cheesy but fun!), Extrodinary Desserts (yummm), and do the Sunset Magazine's 70 mile backroad drive (this month's issue).
