Don't wast your time.Not sure if I was at the same city as the other reviewers. People are generally unfriendly(denied twice for assistance to take a picture of my wife and myself). C-level attractions at best. Bario Alto (night life) was unsafe and unattractive. St George Castle has a nice view but little else. A hidden treasure...I came to europe for my study abroad program and had already planned out where I wanted to go. Last minute, I added Lisbon and it turned out to be a GREAT decision! Lisbon has holiday spirit!I had a great time in Lisbon exploring the city. Downtown the christmas lights are just amazing, and they have the tallest christmas tree in Europe. fun, interesting, cheap, what more do you want?Lisbon was very fun, great food, the people were nice, we stayed in a very cheap but nice hotel, don't miss the Theives Market, and check out the Chirst the King statue (across the estuary), where a few blocks away you can eat at local resturants where you get to point to the fish you will eat, for 8 Euros, ironically the Naval Museum was flooded when we were there, so we didn't get a chance to visit itYou did not find this review helpful.15 of 21 Yahoo!
