I'm sorry to hear that other reviewers didn't enjoy the ribs, but I sure did! My mom ate all of hers, but I couldn't and it wasn't for lack of trying. The cornbread was good also. Even though therfe were alot of cars parked, we didn't have any trouble in having to wait long to order. I would eat here before!

My wife and I did not enjoy the ribs here at all. There was way too much honey in the BBQ and the Ribs were barely served at room temperature. About the only thing that we enjoyed was the cornbread.

Best BBQ in ANY state. Well worth the detour off of I-64. If you haven't had Pierce's, you simply haven't eaten real BBQ.

NOT AT ALL WORTH THE TRIP! The place is always packed, the tourist crowd is rude. In high school this was the great local gathering place, Now it's overpriced and not near worth the wait. The staff does the best they can, but are overwhelmed. It would work better if they would open the outdoor window so people could call ahead and pick up their orders.

Over rated. I have tried literaly over 150 barbecue places, and was not impressed with Pierce's. The pulled pork was overcooked and the sauce had an overwhelming cinnamon flavor. Cinnamon and barbecue? Nasty.
The slaw was good, but there was not enough of it. The Fries and hush puppies were cold. The sweet tea was delicious, though. The stff ...

I love this place. The pork bar-b-que is AMAZING! I always try to find an excuse to stop here whenever I'm in town.
We were told by all our friends that if going to Williamsburg, we HAD to go here to eat! The atmosphere shows its age, but don't let that fool you. The food was excellent and worth the price paid! We walked away full and happy. So tasty! I would say that Pierce's Pit BBQ should be listed as "one of Williamsburg's best kept secrets." We'll definitely eat here again next time we visit.
We're from the Memphis area and, unfortunately, Pierce's wouldn't rank in our top 10 at home. The barbecue is OK but portions are small on side orders. It is fun to see the I-64 traffic zoom by!

Took grandchildren for barbecue on Superbowl Sunday. 10-year-old grandson LOVES barbecue. He rated his portion of baby back ribs as "2" on a scale of "10." His mom and the rest of us agreed that he has a knack for identifying qualilty. Ribs were almost flavor free. Sauce did not come with ribs. Had to ask for it. ...
