Great Sunday brunch through the left entrance and a great pasta dinner throught the right entrance. Value and atmosphere are what make this a Richmond Fan icon.

Am I missing something? This was ok but what's to rave about?...we had average pasta dishes but nothing memorable...and the house wine was really sweet.

Now I visited the Southside location...so maybe the Fan one is better. But, I'm giving it 3 stars but considered 2. My reco is to avoid the lines!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Richmond. Great pasta dishes, and I love the cozy atmosphere at the Fan location. Also love the Bon Air location as parking is a bit easier, and it is more convenient to where I live. Service is nonchalant, which some perceive as aloof or rude, but I like the laid-back vibe. While Joe's seems to have a loyal following, I'm not among them. They have failed my two-time test. Service was not great (they didn't have what we wanted, and then had nerve to get an attitude) and neither is the food. If all you want is a healthy portion, you WILL get that. But who cares when it's not even a TASTY portion?

This is a fantastic dinning facility. The prices are reasonalbe, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is suitable for couples and large families. We visited the new location in Mechanicsville - which turned out to be as good as all the rest.

Good food in a casual atmosphere. Don't miss the special spaghetti and greek salad.
