Kuba Kuba is a favorite for my wife and I. There are so many of our favorite dishes on the menu.

I love Kuba Kuba, probably my favorite Richmond restaurant. I've had Cuban food cooked by Cubans in Miami and they have nothing on Kuba Kuba. Food is great, love the atmosphere. You've got to try the Tres Leches cake and the Kafe Con Leche sweetened. Great stuff.

Food is great. First time I had fried plantains and I was sold. Service is a little slow and I did see a little cockroach once, but I keep coming back for the great food in huge portions.

The food here is excellent - I especially like the cafe con leche, fried plantains, roast pork omelet and the portobello panini. However, I would avoid Kuba Kuba if you are going to meet someone afterwards or going to a social engagement like church because you leave smelling like the a Cuban's armpit.

I never had Cuban food till I went to Kuba Kuba, but man does that Cuban Sandwich taste good! And the fried plantains on the side are a nice touch as well. Definitely a good choice if you're looking for something out of the ordinary!

Love it! I go here probably once every month or so. I bring out of town friends and family here. It is a great little, unique place with a lot of charm. Yes, it's small, so not great for parties 7+ but that's part of the charm. I love the Cuban Pork dinner and the Tres Leches cake is amazing. Also, for brunch, the California Rancheros is my favorite. I would highly recommend it if you have never been.

Be kind to yourself and visit Kuba Kuba while in Richmond. The Cuban sandwiches, vanilla tres leches cake, and more make it a real favorite! It's tiny, it's kitchy, it's excellent!

We ate there last week. I had one of their paella dishes which I thought was bland, but the clams, shrimp and mussels were good. My wife had the roasted pork with black beans and rice. The roasted pork was delicious. As were the fried plantains that came with that dish. Both dishes were very large. For dessert we had the Luz del Sol which was ...

Okay, let's start this off by saying I am not a huge fan of Cuban food. I lived in Miami, and got a great deal of exposure to Cuban food. I ordered seafood paella. The size of the dish was impressive. I am a huge eater, and I did not finish my dinner. There was also an impressive amount of seafood in the dish. That said, most of the ...

Practically lived there!!!

I lived across the street from Kuba Kuba for almost a year. The first time I went there I was astounded. The food was excellent...the waiters and waitresses the best I have ever seen. I would eat there at least twice a week, sometimes I would walk over and order my food and take it back home, while I waited I watched the cook prepare the meals...not frozen people.
