Great restaurant! I've never been disappointed with the food or service in Mary Angela's. On July 28,2008, my mother and I ate here and were so satisfied with our dining experience. They are great, but it pisses me off that they take the phone off the hook 30 minutes before they close so they don't have to take any more orders!

Best pizza and calzones in Richmond. The thin crust pizza is even better the next day for breakfast. Great takeout option, especially since the resaturant is small and tends to be very busy at dinner time.

Love the pizza, the fried calamari and of course going there. We are from NY and were craving some good pizza...we found it here! Thanks!

Good, cheap Italian
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/06
I used to eat here when I was young, broke and not as food-exposed as I am now. I'll return when I'm in the mood for quick, cheap Italian. Good pizza. Decent entrees. Nothing to write home about.

Best Crust in Richmond
By iloveartparties, 01/17/06
Mary Angela is a cary street classic if you love a good pizza crust... cripsy on the outside and soft in the inside. Try the chicken broccoli roll or the made-to-order calzone too...excellent. One of my favorite lunch spots.

It has the best pizza in Richmond, and it is probably the best pizza in the whole square mile outside of Richmond...and the world.
