The service, price and quality of dishes makes this a must stop. Get a meal here and walk over to the historic Byrd Movie Palace for an evening show. Great night and not expensive.

Tonight I was jonesen for Thai cuisine and so I walked the whole 2 minutes it took to get to Mom's Siam with my flat mate. I hate to complain but I must. The experience was dreadful and the food was ... I couldn't tell you because I couldn't eat it. What I can tell you was the traditional Thai iced tea was a watered down version of that ...

  • My favorite Thai in Richmond

Down at the end of Carytown, this Thai offers good-tasting food along with reasonable prices. Try the Tofu Basil, Spicy Garden, Sweet & Sour Tofu (obviously I'm a vegetarian but I did have some Ginger Chicken once and it was good too). The patio is the place when the weather's nice.

  • McDonalds better bet!

This was THE worst! We were seated in the stinky area outside the mens room at a table that leaned so much our soup spilled! And the food and service were terrible. Very bad experience!

  • Nightmare, health risk, don't eat here !!!!!!!!!
    By mortonian72, 10/12/06
I went here with fairly high expectations but left disgusted. Half way through my entree I noticed that some of the chicken was raw. They took my plate away then tried to offer me a free desert which I didn't want. When the bill came I asked for some kind of discount at least but they refused. Don't eat here, nasty food and nasty manangement. Service was also very poor.

  • Great food on Cary and Boulevard!
Awesome food, friendly service. The 'drunken noodles' are a must have and the seafood padprikpoa is a great seafood/vegatable dish. Great patio for eating outside on Cary Street.

  • I'm just not crazy about Thai, sorry.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/06
I've eaten many times at Mom's 'cause friends love it. I'm just not crazy about Thai, however. I'll continue to go because Mom is the sweetest thing in Carytown. You'll always get service with a smile.
