This is probably the freshest and most interesting buffet I have had at an Indian restaurant. Clean premises and courteous service. I live in Warrenton and usually drive to DC to find good Indian food, but this will make me return to Charlottesville just for the food.

We went to Milan for dinner last night after driving back from Monticello. We are not at all familiar with Charlottesville (we live in DC) and we saw Milan while driving back and thought we would give it a try. Three of us went, and all of are Indian.

Milan is an Authentiuc Indian Restuarant- a cut above most. Courteous prompt service, Excellent Cuisine and Charming atmosphere.

LOL. There's nothing special about Milan. It's standard Indian fare. It's a cheap, fast fix when you crave Indian. This, apparently, is the secret since Milan is always packed, especially at lunch time. Located on Emmett Street, so it's pretty easy to find, but a beast getting out of the parking lot during rush hours.

We were there most recently in January 2006. It is very clean (the restroom is elegant) The food, I'm told, is not really authentic. It's not very spicy but very good and flavorful, though.
I like the rice pudding. The first bite has a bit of an overwhelming flavor of rosewater but it is delicious.
The green chutney is also not spicy ...

I Visited There Few Times Still Food Is Very Good But The Service And The Cleanness Is Awful.Sorry To Say.My Last Visit Was In December05 They Didnt Welcome At All.

Lunch buffet is a great value. My wife and I go there weekly. You can even get takeout boxes for the price of the buffet.
